What happens when you create a pied-à-terre so comfortable that the homeowners spend more time in town? While this place started as a “city apartment”, it’s becoming the clients’ primary residence! We took advantage of the open floorplan by creating living and dining areas that flow together for relaxing or entertaining. For effortless work-from-home, we installed a multi-purpose desk-and-dining storage wall in the alcove, plus upgraded the underutilized foyer as another workspace. Custom window treatments improve the architecture and add personality while smart furnishings allow dinner parties, lounging, and even overnight guests. Sometimes, you can have it all.
