After moving from Manhattan, this young family wanted help growing into a new house in Westchester. I was delighted to assist my talented friends at Nest Interiors with setting the floorplan and furnishing the 5-bedroom home with a cohesive, earth-toned palette to make the expansive spaces feel cozy. We modernized by resurfacing the fireplace and installing roman shades and sleek, custom curtains throughout on traditional windows. The living room features custom wood & steel side tables that were designed and handmade by the homeowner’s sister and her partner. Original art and nature-inspired accessories played a big role in personalizing the rooms. Additional work, such as this re-carpeted foyer staircase and second floor, is on-going by Gwynne McCue Interiors, Inc.
